"Volunteer Journal" in Kharkiv

The Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv team attended a meeting with British photographer Mark Neville at the YermilovCentre.

Mark presented his book "Volunteer Journal" — a personal and honest account of his experiences with war, volunteering, and the strength of Ukrainian communities. He also spoke about Postcode Ukraine, the charitable organization he founded, which combines humanitarian aid with documentary photography.

It was a meaningful conversation about how art can preserve memory, evoke empathy, and convey the truth about Ukraine to the global community. In such moments, the value of culture, humanity, and mutual support is felt especially deeply.
