264 hygiene kits for people with limited mobility — assistance that residents of the Komyshany Starosta District had been waiting for.
A ceasefire in Kherson Oblast made it possible to deliver humanitarian aid to a community that had been cut off from such supplies for a long time due to the security situation.
The Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, in partnership with Medico International, provided residents of the district with 264 hygiene kits. The kits included adult diapers, disposable underpads, soap, wet wipes and other essential items for daily care.

Tetiana Lazurko, Head of the Komyshany Starosta District, explains why this assistance is so important:
“We are located in a red zone, so delivering aid here had been almost impossible for a long time. Thanks to the temporary ceasefire, we finally had an opportunity to provide our residents with essential hygiene supplies. We sincerely thank the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation.”
In addition to the Komyshany district, assistance was also provided to the Zelenivka Starosta District.
For people who require ongoing care, these kits help meet their daily needs and provide an opportunity to maintain their dignity even in the most challenging circumstances.
