Protecting damaged homes from further deterioration was another important step made possible during a period of calm in Kherson oblast.
During this time, work was carried out to preserve residential buildings damaged by shelling. Specialists were able to reach areas of the hromada that had remained inaccessible for an extended period due to the security situation.

These preservation works help protect damaged structures from further exposure to weather conditions and reduce the risk of additional destruction.
For residents whose homes have been damaged by shelling, this is an important step towards safeguarding their property and making future restoration possible.
The work was carried out with the support of the international humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse and in cooperation with the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation. Even a brief period of calm makes it possible to complete essential work that had to be postponed due to ongoing security threats.
