The rapid response group summed up the results of the year
Hundreds of lives saved and nearly half a thousand households restored: the Rapid Response Team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation summed up a year of work.
Today, the Rapid Response Team (RRT) consists of six staff members who promptly respond to the sites of enemy shelling to assist victims and help eliminate the consequences. They also evacuate people and animals from dangerous areas, saving lives.
Denys Hrushka, head of the Rapid Response Team, reports that over the past year, they have managed to evacuate 241 people, including 36 children, 11 individuals with limited mobility, and 54 animals.
They carried out 299 deployments, 159 of which were emergency responses. They repaired 3,661 window and door frames in 495 households.
In cooperation with the Humanitarian Coordination Center and with the support of our partner Diaconia, we continue to save lives and assist specialized services.
