Restoring Kherson: Repairing Homes

Throughout August and the first half of September, Kherson faced daily attacks by drones and artillery. Private homes, farm buildings, and civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed.

The Kherson team of the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, with the support of our partner Diaconia, continues to restore housing. In August, we were able to partially repair 26 households, and in September – another 18. We are covering roofs and boarding up windows so that people can continue living in their homes despite the ongoing attacks.

Despite the danger, our construction teams work every day, because restored housing means restored safety for the residents of Kherson.
