On 17 October, at around 4:30 a.m., Russian forces launched ten guided aerial bombs at a residential area in the city of Kherson. More than 350 households were affected by the attack.

The team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation joined efforts to support the affected residents.

With the support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), we distributed 342 ready-to-eat food kits. In addition, together with UNICEF, we registered affected families with children to help them access cash assistance.

The Geneva Conventions and the principles of international humanitarian law provide protection for civilians, humanitarian workers and civilian infrastructure. Attacks on civilian infrastructure, including the facilities of charitable organisations that are not military objectives, are prohibited.
