Polish Volunteer Supports Kharkiv

"I can't do much, but I want to do everything I can" – a volunteer from Poland spent her vacation in Kharkiv

Anna Baranska, a volunteer from Poland, spent two weeks of her vacation with the team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation. She reached out to us via social media and offered her help.

Back in Warsaw, where she's from, Anna also volunteers with the Uniters Foundation — weaving camouflage nets and supporting refugees. She first visited Kharkiv in January this year, and after witnessing the constant shelling of the city, she decided she wanted to contribute right here.

“I really wanted to help here, near the front line. I know I can’t do much, but I want to do everything I can,” Anna shared.

Over the course of two weeks, Anna Baranska worked alongside the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv team, distributing humanitarian aid, supporting people, and becoming a true part of our big volunteer family.

We are grateful to her for her compassion and dedication!
