On August 25, Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation held the “Partnerships That Change the Game” forum, bringing together around 200 representatives of local authorities, businesses, and civil society.
The discussion focused on how communities and businesses can work together, attract funding, and develop projects that address people’s real needs. Particular attention was given to supporting entrepreneurs and creating opportunities for business development at a time when humanitarian funding is gradually shifting its priorities.
“We are currently seeing a transition from emergency response to recovery and development programmes. Business is becoming one of the areas that donors are increasingly focusing on. That is why it is important for us to connect entrepreneurs with available opportunities, help them attract funding, and support their development,” said Khrystyna Belegai, Head of the Project Implementation Department at Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation.
Events like this create space for local authorities, businesses, and civil society to move beyond working separately and engage directly in discussing needs, opportunities, and potential joint projects.
