The Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, with the support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), continues to provide food assistance to communities in Sumy region, where people live under the constant threat of shelling.
This time, food packages were delivered to residents of the village of Tereshchenky. For many people, especially older residents, this support remains an important part of their daily lives.
“We are pensioners, and our pensions are small. Our garden helps us — we grow potatoes and vegetables — but humanitarian assistance is very much needed. There is no pharmacy here, and many other things are unavailable. So we are grateful to the people who help us. All we want is peace and to survive,” said Oleksii, a local resident.
We continue to support people in communities across Sumy region and deliver essential food supplies to those who need them most.
