Access to clean drinking water in communities across the Kharkiv region remains a challenge, which is why such assistance is needed on a daily basis.
Last week, the team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation delivered 2,100 bottles of water (6 liters each) to residents of the Balakliia district (Novohusarivska, Milivska, and Asiivska communities). This amounts to 12,600 liters of water, covering people’s basic daily needs.
For many families, this is about more than just a resource — it is about a sense of stability in difficult conditions.
“When there is water at home, you don’t have to think every minute about where to get it. You can just live and do everyday things,” says local resident Ivan.

The assistance is provided within the framework of the project “Leaving No One Behind – Multisectoral Emergency and Inclusive Support through Child Protection, Response to Gender-Based Violence, and WASH interventions for children and families affected by the war in the Kharkiv region.”
The project is implemented jointly with partners: Terre des hommes in Ukraine, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, NGO “League of Modern Women,” and the Charitable Organization “Development and Social Justice of Ukraine,” with support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
