The sapper profession: forum in Kharkiv

On September 12, a forum titled “The Sapper Profession: Safety and the Future” was held in Kharkiv, bringing together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and humanitarian funds. The discussions focused on the strategic role of demining for Ukraine’s national security, support for affected individuals, compensation for farmers, as well as innovations transforming mine action.

Special attention was given to professional training for sappers, issues of operator certification, and practical experience in humanitarian demining. Representatives of the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation participated in the event to strengthen cooperation and exchange experience in the field of civilian safety.
