Even during the war, people continue to create positive change in their communities.

In Kherson, one simple yet extremely important project helped equip a shelter space where people can not only stay safe during emergencies but also receive support, take a break, and feel a greater sense of security.

Such initiatives are made possible by caring local residents who understand the needs of their community and are committed to making life a little more comfortable for people, even in the most challenging circumstances.

In this carousel, we share the story of Natalia Vashchenko, a member of an initiative group who contributed to the creation of this space.
