The Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, with the support of its partner Glovo, is implementing the “Step to Safety” project. As part of the project, our team evacuates families from dangerous areas and helps them reach safer places.
This time, we evacuated a family from the urban-type settlement of Balabyne, Zaporizhzhia Raion. Due to frequent strikes and ongoing FPV drone attacks, staying there had become too dangerous.
“Over the past few days, it has been very noisy both day and night. That’s why we decided to leave for our safety. It’s more peaceful here: schools are operating, and our child is about to start first grade. We really hope everything will be alright and that we’ll be able to stay together in Ukraine,” — Natalia, a resident of Zaporizhzhia.
The Foundation’s team accompanies the family throughout the entire journey. Following the evacuation, we also help them find accommodation and cover the rent for the first few months.
