Socialization after online learning
If a schoolchild studies online for a long time, they are deprived of regular socialization. Such a child may face difficulties in communicating with peers and may even feel scared when placed in a group of 10–20 children.
Identifying the problem is not always easy: at home, the child may behave quite normally — communicating, showing interest, laughing. The symptoms appear specifically in social settings.
That is why psychologist Denys Shapovalov advises parents to look for opportunities to help children socialize. One such option is the psychosocial support hubs of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation. Here, professional psychologists, speech therapists, and educational organizers work with children, giving them the chance to make friends and restore their social skills.
