The Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with We World has joined the initiative:
"In frontline communities, people continue to live under the sounds of shelling. Even if direct hits do not occur daily, the constant threat of missiles and drones is exhausting. It is especially difficult for elderly people, for whom winter becomes yet another challenge.
‘It’s very frightening — rockets, drones, “Shaheds”, and “Molniyas” fly both day and night. It’s hard for us. Pensions are small; there isn’t enough for medicine or heating. We heat with firewood, and food is very expensive. The money we received for fuel will be spent on medicines and food because these are the most necessary things right now. We are very grateful to you for caring about the pensioners,’ — Vira, a resident of Fesky village.

Support in the form of fuel briquettes is provided with the assistance of Terre des Hommes Italia. Thanks to this, people are able to heat their homes and get through the heating season in more stable conditions.
We continue to work alongside communities to ensure that support remains accessible to those who need it most.
