Housing recovery is a process that helps people remain in their own homes and gradually return to a sense of normal life. Since October, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, in partnership with Alight, has been working in Zolochiv, Kharkiv region, supporting families whose homes were damaged as a result of shelling.
Within the project, support is being provided to nine houses. Part of the roof repair works has already been completed, and new windows have been delivered, with installation planned in the near future. This helps protect homes from cold weather and further damage.
"I am very grateful to the foundation and partners. There was a recent strike. The roof was damaged and eight windows were destroyed. They helped and restored everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," — Tetiana, a resident of Zolochiv.

The Foundation continues to work in areas where housing recovery is a top priority, helping people stay in their homes even under difficult conditions.
