In Asiivka — a village in Balakliia region — access to drinking water remains unstable. In such conditions, even basic necessities require support.
The team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation organized the delivery and distribution of water for local families. In total, 1,702 bottles of drinking water (6 liters each) were delivered — more than 10,000 liters for the community.
For people, these are not just numbers. It is the reassurance that there will be clean water at home for daily needs.
“Right now, water is the most important thing. When you have запас, you feel calmer. Thank you for not leaving us alone,” says Ms. Olha, a resident of the village.
The assistance is provided within the project “No One Left Behind – Multi-sectoral Emergency and Inclusive Support through Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence Response, and WASH Services for Conflict-Affected Children and Families in Kharkiv Oblast.” The project is implemented by four partner organizations — Terre des hommes in Ukraine, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, League of Modern Women, and Development and Social Justice of Ukraine Charitable Foundation — with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
