New PET-film windows for Izium
In Izium, the company "Alternative Window" is implementing a project to cover damaged windows of residential buildings with PET film — an innovative material in this field. The Rapid Response Team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation has also joined this pilot project. Our team worked on replacing window coverings in the homes of local residents.
PET film is an alternative to OSB boards and polyethylene film, which are usually used to cover damaged homes after shelling. Such windows provide full protection from rain, wind, and other external factors, while also preserving light and comfort inside the premises.
Local resident Iryna Marchenko shared her impressions about the work done on her house, where the old film was replaced with the new material:
"I am grateful to the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation and the Alternative Window team. Now my home will be light, comfortable, and cozy."
