More than 3,000 people received food packages.

In August, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the UN World Food Programme, continued the institutional food assistance project. Food packages were delivered to 14 state institutions in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, including hospitals — Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital, Shostka Central District Hospital, Novhorod-Siverskyi City Hospital; psycho-neurological institutions — Okhtyrka and Synivka; a children’s residential care home in Konotop; and territorial social service centers. In total, more than 3,000 people received support. Each food package included flour, cereals, oil, pasta, and other basic products necessary for daily meals.

This project demonstrates how important it is to join efforts in ensuring access to essential nutrition, even in difficult times.
