In the village of Zolochiv, at the children’s space of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, one of the psychosocial support sessions for children aged 8–10 took place.

The topic of the session was “Communication Workshop: How to Make Friends and Be Kind.”

The children learned to understand others’ emotions, express their own feelings, listen to one another, and resolve simple conflicts. In a friendly atmosphere, through games and exercises, they discovered that true kindness begins with respect for themselves and those around them.

Such sessions help children not only better adapt within a community but also build confidence in communication and openness to new friendships.

The project is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with JERU (a joint initiative of Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide).
