In November and December, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation distributed 1,487 hygiene kits to people with limited mobility in the city of Kherson, as well as in the villages of Pravdyne and Nadiivka in the Kherson region.
The assistance was delivered directly to people’s homes, as due to their health conditions they are unable to collect aid at distribution points. In a region with limited access to basic goods, these kits play an important role in providing daily support and helping people maintain dignified living conditions.
“I love this city, I love Ukraine — and that keeps me going. Humanitarian aid is very much needed, thank you. We have enough food and essential items. Thank you very much,” — Olena, a resident of Kherson.
The project is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with JERU, Welthungerhilfe, and Concern Worldwide.
