In Derhachi, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the Coordination Humanitarian Center, distributed food and household kits to local residents.
Such distributions take place every three weeks in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. Assistance is provided to large families and single parents, older people, people with disabilities, families whose homes have been damaged as a result of the war, as well as people who have returned home after hostilities.
The food kits contain essential products with a long shelf life.
“It is very difficult to find work now, and there are often power outages. This kind of assistance is truly needed by people, especially those living alone, large families, and older people. We are very grateful that the residents of Derhachi and the surrounding communities are remembered and supported,” — Olena, a resident of Derhachi.
We continue to support people who, despite difficult conditions, remain in their communities or return home.
The project is implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation as part of the LINK Consortium, which brings together the Charity Foundation “Angels of Salvation,” the Coordination Humanitarian Center, and the Rokada Charitable Foundation, with financial support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
