In frontline communities across the Kherson and Sumy regions, food assistance remains a vital source of support for people facing difficult living conditions due to the war. In September, Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), continued to provide residents with essential food supplies.

In the Kherson region, 24,156 food boxes were distributed during the month, and 7,850 people received bread.

In the Sumy region, 10,614 food boxes were distributed.

Additionally, 376 emergency kits were delivered to a transit centre for people evacuated from dangerous areas of the Kherson region.

This assistance helps people access essential food supplies and meet their basic needs despite the challenging conditions in frontline communities.
