This week, the team of Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation visited Tokyo to share its experience and explore new opportunities for international cooperation and support for Ukrainian communities.
One of the key events was Bankyo-kai, a private meeting of Japanese business representatives interested in Ukraine’s recovery and the development of bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, the team presented the Foundation’s work and highlighted the needs of Ukrainian communities to approximately 80 representatives of Japanese companies and organizations.

The team also attended H.C.R. 2026 — International Home Care and Rehabilitation Exhibition & Forum at Tokyo Big Sight. The exhibition provided an opportunity to explore innovative solutions in rehabilitation, healthcare, assistive technologies, and support for people with disabilities.
An important part of the visit was meetings with representatives of Plan International Japan and Peace Winds Japan. The discussions focused on potential partnerships in child protection, psychosocial support, education, assistance to vulnerable families, humanitarian response, and Ukraine’s recovery.

For the Foundation, international cooperation means more than establishing new contacts. It is an opportunity to build partnerships, exchange expertise, mobilize additional resources, and develop solutions together to help Ukrainians rebuild their lives even amid the ongoing war.
