Water is one of the most basic human needs, yet for many residents of Kharkiv Oblast, access to safe drinking water remains a challenge. That is why providing communities with drinking water continues to be an important part of humanitarian assistance.
Charitable Foundation delivered 4,200 six-liter bottles of drinking water to residents of the Balakliia district. In total, this amounted to 25,200 liters of water needed for everyday life, cooking, and meeting basic household needs.
For many families, this support means one less thing to worry about, allowing them to focus on their daily lives.

“Water is something we need every single day—at home and for our household. Receiving this kind of support truly makes a difference. It gives you the reassurance that you have not been forgotten and that people are there to help during these difficult times,” says local resident Mr. Vasyl.
The assistance is provided as part of the project “Leaving No One Behind – Multi-sectoral Emergency and Inclusive Support through Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence Response, and WASH Interventions for War-Affected Children and Families in Kharkiv Oblast.”

The project is implemented in partnership with Terre des Hommes Ukraine, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, League of Modern Women NGO, and the Development and Social Justice of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
