Comprehensive Support for Vulnerable Families: Financial Assistance and Psychological Aid
To support and empower recovery, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, with the assistance of the international mission Jeru, is helping people affected by the war.
As part of the support project for residents of Kharkiv and Kherson regions, in April we carried out registration for a multi-purpose cash assistance program for people from vulnerable categories.
In Kharkiv and Izium, we registered 172 individuals evacuated from the Borova community of the Izium district. In Kherson, 719 individuals were registered. In total, over 890 people will receive 10,800 UAH per family member.
In addition to financial support, the project also provides psychological assistance.
In each region, two psychologists are working — conducting both group and individual sessions for adults and children. This includes stress management, emotional relief, and crisis support.
Participants say the sessions are extremely helpful, especially now, when many people experience fear and anxiety.
This initiative is implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation with the support of the Jeru international mission and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
