In the Kharkiv region, in Zolochiv, Fesky, and Izium, child-friendly safe spaces are operating — places where children can take a break from stress, socialize, and feel supported. This initiative is being implemented by the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with UNICEF.
In each hub, children are supported by psychologists, social workers, and art therapists.
Children aged 3 to 18 attend age-appropriate activities, including individual and group sessions where there is room for both creativity and communication.
"Here, my child feels calmer, finds the activities engaging, and is always happy to come," shares one of the mothers.
Psychologists and social workers also manage cases of families who need additional support.

These spaces give children the opportunity to recover emotionally, connect with others, and return to the experience of a normal childhood.
