Aid for Kherson: Bread for residents

The Kherson community constantly suffers from shelling. Destroyed infrastructure and complicated logistics make access to basic services almost impossible. People find it extremely difficult to provide themselves with essentials, first and foremost food. Despite the danger, the team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation does not leave people without the most important thing — bread.

During the first half of August, thanks to our partner, the UN World Food Programme, we distributed 127,551 loaves of bread to residents of Kherson and nearby settlements. This is vital assistance for Kherson residents, especially the elderly, people with disabilities, those who are alone, or families with children.

It is also proof that people are not left alone with their problems — that there are those who care and who help. We work to make sure people have bread.
