Kherson was visited on a working trip by the Deputy Executive Director of WFP, Karl Skau, and Country Director Richard Ragan. Representatives of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation and the city administration also joined the discussion.
The main purpose of the visit was to observe aid distribution points in Kherson and speak directly with people receiving assistance.

What we managed to do during the visit:
-Discuss possible updates to food kits so they better reflect real needs.
-Ask Kherson residents about the quality of the assistance — what works well and what could be improved.
-Visit a shelter that is currently home to 61 people.
-Identify the community’s future needs and agree on continuing cooperation.
Such visits are not about formal monitoring, but about maintaining a genuine dialogue with the community. We will continue working to ensure that assistance remains systematic, timely, and responsive to the needs of Kherson residents.
