Since September 4, a Child Support and Development Center has been operating at the transit center based in a lyceum in the city of Lozova — a safe space where children of different ages who are temporarily staying there can play, learn, and feel cared for even in difficult circumstances.

The project is implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with UNICEF.

Since its opening, the center has already welcomed 170 children, who have received not only engaging activities and games but also psychological support that helps them regain a sense of safety and normal childhood.

A social worker from our foundation works at the center, supporting children and conducting activities. Psychologists from the foundation and partner organizations also visit regularly, providing consultations and interactive sessions to help children adapt and cope with stress.
