The State Emergency Service Recognized the Work of the Foundation

The team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation received a commendation from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) in Kharkiv Oblast for their cooperation and support of the emergency response units.

The award was presented to Denys Hrushka, Head of the Foundation’s Rapid Response Group, during a ceremony dedicated to Volunteer Appreciation Day.

“It is a great honor for us to be part of a community of people who change lives for the better every day. Helping others is not just our work — it is our conscious choice and a great responsibility,” said Denys Hrushka.

Yevhen Koliada, Head of the Coordination Humanitarian Center, expressed gratitude to all volunteer organizations, emphasizing that behind them are hundreds of thousands of people who continue to serve civilians, military personnel, and anyone in need.

“Behind each of your actions is a life saved, hope restored for someone in their darkest moment. Today, more than ever, we want to say ‘thank you’ — for your tireless work, your courage, and your immense heart,” added Oleksandr Pielekhov, Head of the Volunteer Council of Kharkiv Oblast and founder of the Community of the Concerned – Diia.
