The team of the charitable organization the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation continues the work of mobile units in communities, supporting families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
Social workers provide daily assistance in addressing urgent issues: restoration of documents, access to social services, and legal consultations. By traveling directly to families, the team assesses needs and works together with people to find solutions — ranging from humanitarian to psychological support.
“We were left without housing after the shelling. We relocated, but many issues with documents remained. Social workers helped us understand everything and advised where to apply. We are very grateful for this support,” said a resident of Izium.
An important area of work is psychological assistance. Specialists work with both adults and children, using art therapy methods to reduce anxiety levels and help people find their inner resources.
“We came from Donetsk region. The Foundation’s staff found us on their own, came to our home and started helping. It included both psychological and legal support. We really needed it,” said a displaced family.
The Foundation’s mobile teams continue to work where people need support the most — nearby, systematically, and with attention to every individual story.
The project is implemented by the Charitable Organization “the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation” with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom under the Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation and Transformation (SPIRIT) Project, implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities, and UNICEF Ukraine, administered by ISAR Ednannia.
