Since August, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation has been providing households in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions with wood fuel briquettes as part of the DOVIRA project.
Behind every delivery is an opportunity to prepare for the cold season and feel less worried about how to keep one's home warm during winter.
For Ms. Liudmyla from the village of Yakovlivka in Mykolaiv region, this support is particularly important:
“On a pension, you cannot afford to buy much, and in winter you need something to heat your home with. It would have been difficult for me to stock up on fuel on my own. Now I know I will have something to keep my home warm, and that is a great relief for me.”
The Foundation's team continues to provide households with essential fuel supplies so that people can face the winter with greater confidence and peace of mind.
The DOVIRA project is implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need, with financial support from the United States Government.
