The mobile social support team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation has been working in Izyum for six months, supporting families who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the war.
The team provides social support, offers consultations, assists with document processing, and accompanies families throughout the entire period they are in crisis. The main goal of this work is to be there and help where the family cannot cope on its own.

“I reached out for help because, due to the war, it is not always possible to provide everything on my own. My little son constantly needs medicine, diapers, and special nutrition. I was immediately told that they would help as much as possible — and they really do help. We are very grateful,” — Natalia, resident of Izyum.
Currently, the mobile support team is assisting 16 families. Each family has signed a contract, undergone an initial needs assessment, and had an individual support plan developed.
The project is organized by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation thanks to the support of the Government of the United Kingdom within the framework of the “Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation, and Transformation (SPIRIT)” project, implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities, and UNICEF Ukraine, with administration by ISAR Ednannia.
