In the Novobuzka community, psychological support has become part of the primary healthcare system. Thanks to this, adult residents can seek consultation in a familiar and accessible environment.
Within the project, people have the opportunity to receive individual consultations with a psychologist, join group psychosocial support sessions, and work on reducing anxiety and emotional stress.
“My name is Iryna, I am 47 years old, and I live here. The war has had a strong impact on my mental health — sometimes depression overwhelms me, I don’t feel like doing anything, and I really need support. Before, we somehow managed on our own, but now such meetings help a lot. After them, my mood improves, and it becomes easier. I feel great support, and I can even see from my child that they like it — we always leave here feeling positive. My biggest dream is for the war to end,” says Iryna, a participant of psychotherapy sessions.

The initiative is implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with the Dutch Refugee Foundation (Stichting Vluchteling).
