One year of the coordination center’s work

Representatives of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation participated in a meeting dedicated to the first anniversary of the Mine Action Coordination Center at the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Today, Ukraine is the most mine-contaminated country in the world, and the Kharkiv region remains one of the most affected areas. The meeting discussed the Center’s results, upcoming challenges, and the shortage of qualified sappers.

Among the key decisions was the opportunity for certain categories of the population to undergo training as a “sapper” with partial cost coverage through the employment center.

The discussion included Deputy Head of the Kharkiv RMA Yevhen Ivanov, Director of the Regional Employment Center Oleksandr Kotukov, Coordinator of the Center Danylo Kyslyi, as well as other experts in mine action.
