The Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation joined the “Japanese Autumn” event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Ukrainian-Japanese Center. The event took place in Kyiv on September 4–6 with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.

During the event, our mine safety instructors presented VR headsets used during EORE (Explosive Ordnance Risk Education) sessions.

Thanks to VR technology, mine safety education becomes more visual and interactive: participants can safely experience simulated hazardous situations and better understand how to act if they encounter explosive ordnance.

The use of VR technology within the project is being implemented in cooperation with our partners, UNOPS, with financial support from the Government of Japan.

For us, it is important to use different educational formats so that mine safety rules are clear, accessible, and easier to remember.
