The tragedy in Kherson region showed that humanity and a kind heart are rays of light even in the seemingly most hopeless situations. Among those who stood shoulder to shoulder with us was the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation. We were saving peaceful citizens together, providing drinking water and hot meals for the population.
