Sports shoes for the children's football team

Shoes for Future Champions: the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation Donated Football Turf Shoes to the Children’s Team “Alpha”. The coach of the football team “Alpha” from the village of Shevchenkove, Kupiansk district, appealed to the Foundation asking for help with shoes for young athletes. Thanks to the donations of caring people, we purchased 15 pairs of football shoes worth 20,000 UAH. Parents say such footwear is not affordable for everyone, and moreover, it is simply impossible to buy it locally.

"We live in the frontline zone. Sometimes, two or three times a week, there are shellings… But children need to do sports, because they see nothing else. We are grateful to our coach – he makes every effort to provide the children with sportswear and shoes," says Svitlana, a local resident and mother of one of the players.

Coach Volodymyr Kolii notes that the team faces many difficulties in the border community. The school and the stadium are destroyed. Constant shellings frighten the children. But still, they come to play – their mood improves, they socialize, they rejoice. For them, it is a real source of comfort.

"We visited Shevchenkove and handed over football turf shoes to young players – so that future champions can grow here," adds Anton Leshchenko, Senior Forwarder of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation.
