In August, the team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation continued the distribution of wooden fuel briquettes to households in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
During the month, 206 households received assistance: 152 in Mykolaiv region and 54 in Kherson region.
Early delivery of fuel has an important practical advantage. The briquettes can be safely stored in dry conditions until the heating season begins, while families already know that they will have the necessary supply to heat their homes during the winter.
Each household receives 3.5 tonnes of fuel briquettes, helping families prepare for the cold season in advance. The distribution is ongoing.
The assistance is provided by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need, with financial support from the Government of the United States, as part of the implementation of the DOVIRA Project.
