In Zolochiv, which remains under constant threat of shelling, a child-friendly safe space continues to operate.

With the support of UNICEF, Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation provides psychosocial support to children aged 3 to 18.

The space is open from Monday to Saturday. Children can take part in group and individual sessions, communicate with their peers, engage in creative activities, and receive support tailored to their age and individual needs.

They are supported by psychologists, a social worker, and an art therapist. Specialists also support families who need assistance: they manage cases, address families’ needs, and help them access the necessary social and psychological services.

“When I’m here, I don’t think about what is happening outside. Here, I can play and do something with my friends,” said Anton, a visitor to the space.
