The project “Light and Care: Social Support and Energy Security for Children in Izium Region” has launched and will run from February 24, 2026, to April 24, 2026.
The assistance is aimed at supporting vulnerable groups — families with children, including children with disabilities, who are significantly affected by the energy crisis.
The project will provide support to 40 families. Each family will receive a solar charging station, a portable gas stove with two gas cylinders, a thermos, and a blanket.
Families will also receive psychosocial support and social accompaniment to help them cope with crisis situations.
Additionally, a mobile hub will be created with a charging station and internet access, allowing people to charge their devices and stay connected during power outages.
This post is organized by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation with the support of the UK Government under the Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation, and Transformation (SPIRIT) Project, implemented in cooperation with UNICEF Ukraine and administered by ISAR Ednannia.
