For many communities in the Kharkiv region, access to drinking water remains an everyday necessity, especially in remote settlements.
During the first half of May, the team of the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation delivered 4,200 bottles of water, each with a volume of 6 liters, to residents of the Balakliia district. This amounts to 25,200 liters of water helping people meet their basic daily needs.
For many families, this is about more than just a resource — it is about maintaining everyday routines and having a sense of stability even in difficult circumstances.
“These things may seem simple, but when there is water at home, it is already a huge relief for the whole family,” says local resident Nataliia.

The assistance is provided within the framework of the project “Leaving No One Behind — Multi-sectoral Emergency and Inclusive Support Through Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence Response, and WASH Activities for War-Affected Children and Families in Kharkiv Oblast.”
The project is implemented jointly with partners: Terre des hommes in Ukraine, the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, NGO “League of Modern Women”, and CF “Development and Social Justice of Ukraine” with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
