Our mine risk education instructors attended the training “STOP THE BLEED (STB)”, organized by the Coordination Humanitarian Center.
The training was conducted by experienced instructors from the Center of Tactical Medicine “Skhid”, certified by international organizations such as National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and International Medical Corps (IMC) in providing pre-hospital trauma care.
During the training, participants learned:
-principles of personal safety in high-risk areas;
-types and signs of bleeding and the importance of timely assistance;
-proper application of a windlass tourniquet type “CAT” on upper and lower limbs;
-principles and techniques of wound packing for bleeding control;
-practical bandaging of various types of injuries.
Continuous training ensures readiness to respond to challenges in the most dangerous regions.
