On September 24 and 27, residents of Sumy whose homes were damaged by airstrikes on September 23 and 26 received essential humanitarian assistance.
Together with UNICEF, the team of Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation provided affected residents with essential supplies, including:
• 214 hygiene kits
• 68 children’s backpacks
• 38 bedding kits
Behind these numbers are families who have endured attacks, whose homes have been damaged, and who are now trying to cope with the aftermath.
Support is especially important for families with children, as even the most basic essentials can help make the first days after an attack a little easier.
We continue to stand by people and provide assistance wherever it is needed.
