A true celebration for children took place in the Novovorontsovka community. The team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation joined the organization of a summer event where children enjoyed creative workshops, active games, competitions, and many bright emotions.
At a time when the childhood of many Ukrainian children passes under the sound of air raid sirens and in conditions of constant stress, such events provide an opportunity to relax, communicate with peers, and simply be children.
“Thanks to today’s celebration, our children smiled. After such events, they always ask: ‘When will there be another one?’ They want more communication, more games, and more joy. Today, being able to enjoy life is a real luxury for children,” said Polina Tiapkina, homeroom teacher of the 4th grade at Novovorontsovka Lyceum.
The project is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with JERU.
