In Kherson, people live every day under constant danger. Shelling, destroyed infrastructure, and limited access to shops and markets make even basic necessities difficult to obtain. For many families, food assistance remains the only way to secure daily meals.
That is why the support provided by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), is so important. Food supplies and bread help people feel at least a sense of stability and confidence in tomorrow.
Residents of Kherson share their experiences:
“We wake up in the morning and thank God that we are alive. There are almost no shops, no market. That is why this assistance is such great support for us. We see that we are remembered, that we have not been abandoned. They bring us bread and food, and it gives us the strength to keep going. Our greatest dream is peace, a clear sky, and for people to return home.”
