In the Kharkiv region, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation haslaunched registration for receiving solid fuel for residents of the Bezliudivka community. A total of 250 households will receive assistance. Each family will be provided with 5.26 m³ of solid fuel, which is sufficient for the heatingseason.
Support is provided to families with children, elderly people, persons with disabilities, and those who require special care.

During registration, people shared their stories.
“It’s difficult. I’m alone, there is nohelp. I buried my son, I buried my husband… The heating is wood-burning, andit’s cold in the house. I won’t go anywhere. I was born here — and here I will stay with my children,” said Ms. Kateryna, a resident of the village of Bezliudivka.
Solid fuel is an opportunity to get through the cold season in warmth and safety without leaving one’s home.

The project is implemented in partnership with the Estonian Refugee Council (ERC) with financial support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
