In Kherson, a space has emerged that has become much more than just a shelter.
Here, children with disabilities can communicate, participate in sessions with a psychologist, and discover the world through cinema. Thanks to the newly equipped mini cinema, the space incorporates elements of cinema therapy, helping children process emotions and interact with their peers.

For Kherson, where opportunities for children's leisure activities and socialization are currently extremely limited, such initiatives are of particular importance. They create an environment where children can remain children despite the challenges of war.
In the carousel, you can find the story of Olha Tsylinko, Executive Director of Center Sofia, who works with families of children with disabilities and helps create a safe and supportive environment for them.

Grant support within the framework of the project “Winter Cash Assistance and Community Resilience Support in Conflict-Affected Areas of Kherson Oblast” is provided by JERU (a joint mission of the international humanitarian organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide) in partnership with the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation.
