On July 29, the regional forum “Safety Nearby: Integrating EORE into Communities” was held in Mykolaiv, bringing together representatives of government authorities, international partners, humanitarian organizations, and experts.
Participants discussed the integration of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) into education and social protection systems, as well as community recovery processes. Particular attention was paid to the role of humanitarian mine action, cross-sectoral cooperation, and practical solutions that can contribute to the safe recovery of communities.

The forum provided a platform for open dialogue, experience sharing, and strengthening cooperation between government institutions, humanitarian organizations, and international partners.
The event was organized by the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with WeWorld and DanChurchAid and Norwegian Church Aid (DCA NCA), with financial support from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).
We thank all participants, partners, and experts for the constructive dialogue and joint efforts toward a safer future for Ukrainian communities.
